Within the course of another academic year, McMaster University’s Department of Surgery continues to look forward to the continued growth and success of our publications and grant funding, while continually working toward improving our brand of high-quality evidence-based surgery. The challenge for us is not in our productivity but in our communication and translation of the evidence we are creating. Building Bridges

The Building Bridges Clinical Research Focus Showcases bring together a diverse group of experienced researchers with an explicit intent to engage and ignite the spark of research. The series presents a true reflection of the department’s trailblazing leadership in research across our divisions and serves as a source of inspiration and encouragement for all members, as our renowned faculty speakers share their insights in, and experiences with, research in surgery and in science.
